Kelly Shelton, President & CEO
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Kelly Shelton attended the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and Kenwood Academy High School before receiving her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois and her Master of Engineering Management from the Robert McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Kelly has worked in the energy arena for over twenty-five years. She has held various positions of increasing responsibility including Systems Engineer, Sales Manager and Marketing Analyst for a local energy distribution company. Kelly has also served as Director of Energy Management for a large local government where she was responsible for building retrofits, LEED projects, energy procurement and co-wrote an early edition of the city’s Energy Plan.As a Certified Energy Manager named Energy Manager of the Year by the Association of Energy Engineers, Kelly is a Charter Member of the Energy Managers Society, a Senior Member of the Association of Energy Engineers and a member of the Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership. Kelly’s successful career in energy and environmental management led her to launch Shelton Solutions, Inc. in 2004. Shelton Solutions has grown from reviewing the utility bills for one small neighborhood hospital to providing energy management services to the nation’s 2nd largest public transportation system, 2nd most populous county, 3rd largest city and 4th largest public school district
Sean Shelton
Executive Vice President
Sean brings over 20 years of management experience to Shelton Solutions, after serving as the Operations Manager of Burlington Northern - Santa Fe Railway. Sean is currently responsible for leading the team, consultants, and partners. He also manages the day-to-day efforts on behalf of the Illinois Solar for All Program. Sean is certified in medical waste handling and leads our medical waste audits.
Andria Russaw
Administrative Director
Andria is a Master’s-prepared educational professional. She handles onboarding, training, scheduling, and the comprehensive human resource needs of the Shelton Solutions team. Andria ensures the operational needs of the team are met and brings cutting-edge process solutions to enhance the team's output and deliverables.
SEAN SHELTON, II
Business Development Manager
Sean II is a 2021 graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Sean is responsible for standing up new business, maintaining core business resources and capturing best-in-class processes. He researches and implements best practices and ensures the business is positioned for growth.
DAVID F. HANNAH
Manager of Data Operations With a background in accounting, David is responsible for the data management and analysis for Shelton Solutions. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, David brings over 20 years of experience in all things dealing with data. He manages the budgets, forecasting and validation for our energy management clients.
RAYANA BUSH
Emerging Programs Manager Rayana handles the program management of the energy programs. In this role, she ensures projects are progressing smoothly and meeting goals, targets and deadlines. With experience in data analysis and business development, Rayana approaches the work of program management with a eye toward continuous improvement.
SANDRA WOMACK JOHNSON
Operational Support Sandra is a detail-oriented professional with over 25 years of experience. Sandra provides operational support for the industrial systems energy efficiency program. In this role, she ensures projects are progressing as expected with accuracy, effectiveness and efficiency.
JOSE N. URZAGASTE
Energy Engineer Jose is a seasoned engineer with a degree in Physics and over 35 years of commercial/industrial in-field and in-plant experience. He has served as a coroporate energy manager and a project engineer. Jose is uniquely skilled in finding innovative and creative energy saving opportunities in usual and unusual spaces.
Christopher Currie Program Manager
Christopher is a 2021 graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris handles the program management of the affordable housing new construction energy efficiency program. In this role, he ensures projects are on time and on target.
Tamatha Henderson Program Coordinator
Tamatha is an administrative professional with over 15 years of experience. With a keen eye for the details and a wealth of procedural knowledge, Tamatha handles various analytical tasks including program requirement reviews and utility bill validations.
Barbara O'Sheim Program Coodinator
Barbara is a proficient operations analyst with over 25 years of experience. Barb handles the program management of the commercial/industrial new construction energy efficiency program and ensures projects are progressing on schedule.
Terrence Howard Program Manager
Terrence has a background in education and front-line supervision. Terrence is primarily responsible for determining solar program participation eligibility and supports data tracking, evaluation and analysis.
The Quality Assurance Team
Our detail-oriented Quality Assurance - Quality Control team ensures program applications and materials are thorough and correct. They understand the importance of consistency and accuracy. They constantly track process improvement best practices to deliver results efficiently and effectively.
